Cross Infection Control
We comply with recent cross infection guidelines issued by the Department of Health(HTM01-05) in which all non disposable instruments are sterilised in a dedicated central sterilisation area.
Digital Imaging
X-ray procedures are an essential part of quality dental treatment. Our practice utilises an advanced non-film dental imaging system known as CDR (computed dental radiography). This gives us and instant on-screen image with a reduced X-ray radiation dose by up to 80% compared to conventional dental film x-rays.
Using this system, an electronic sensor produces computerised radiographs, which appear instantly on a chair side computer screen. These images can then be adjusted, printed, archived indefinitely and sent to your dentist.

Latest Case Study
Veneers
This patient was unhappy that the existing porcelain veneer on the upper left lateral incisor- it was described as “dull” and “darker than the natural teeth”. Matthew advised to replace the veneer with a lighter shade to match the existing teeth and to add some composite to the upper left canine tooth to improve the appearance- make it less pointed; the incisal edges of the upper teeth were improved also with the addition of composite. The work was completed over 2 visits, with the help of Steve Taylor, dental technician, to achieve a natural smile. The patient was delighted.
